UPAKOVKA / UPAK ITALIA in Moscow to reassert its position as the leading platform for packaging technology

The upcoming UPAKOVKA/UPAK ITALIA is set to drive home
its position as the ultimate platform for packaging technology
on the Russian market. From 13 to 16 December, more than
300 exhibitors will set up shop over a net exhibition area of
some 8,000 square metres in Moscow. The biggest exhibitor
contingents will come from Germany and Italy, some 80
companies from each country will attract trade visitors’
attention with their products and services. Both joint
presentations are fully booked.

All told, exhibitors from 23 countries will gather at the ZAO
Expocentr in Krasnaya Presnya. Austria, Finland, France,
Germany and Italy will be represented by officially backed
national participations. The International Trade Fair Machinery
and Equipment for the Manufacture of Packaging, Packaging
Machinery, Confectionery Machinery, Packaging and Packaging
Aids, Logistics will already take place for the 14th time in
Moscow and is being staged by Messe Düsseldorf in cooperation
with Italian organisers Centrexpo. Rounding out the exhibitors’
offerings will be a high-calibre ancillary programme. A symposium,
for instance, will explore the latest angles on packaging for the
pharmaceuticals industry. What’s more, a special seminar
aimed at students will delve into new packaging technologies.

In 2005, UPAKOVKA/UPAK ITALIA will once again open its doors
in tandem with INTERPLASTICA, the International Trade Fair
Plastics and Rubber. As a pair, the events offer exhibitors and
visitors a comprehensive overview of these two growth industries
on the Russian market.
